Job summary

Caring Heart Companion Service in Torrance, CA is seeking a compassionate Korean-speaking caregiver to join our in-home team. You will provide culturally sensitive, personalized care, support daily living activities, and accompany clients to appointments and social activities.

The role emphasizes dignity, respect, and reliability, with attention to safety, communication in Korean, and ability to pass background checks. Prior caregiving experience helps, and CPR/First Aid is a plus.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Korean (spoken and/or written) is required.
• Previous caregiving, home health aide, or personal care experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to pass a background check and provide references.
• HHA or CNA certification a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
• Communicate effectively with Korean-speaking clients to ensure comfort and understanding
• Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and daily living activities
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
• Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or condition to supervisors
• Assist with medication reminders and medical appointments as needed
• Transport or accompany clients to errands, appointments, and social activities
