Job summary

PwC is seeking an Audit Korean Business Network Intern in Rosemont, IL to participate in financial statement audits and learn PwC methodologies. You will assist audit teams, perform basic tasks, and conduct research to support client work while observing seasoned professionals.

As an intern within the Assurance practice, you will build a foundational understanding of financial reporting, apply professional standards, and contribute to team success through learning and initiative.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Minimum 3.0 overall GPA
• Fluent in Korean and English, both reading and speaking
• Before starting full-time, meet CPA exam eligibility in the state of employment
• Intern level candidate typically in later years of degree program

Responsibilities

• Support audit teams in conducting financial statement audits for Korean business clients
• Review and verify financial documents for GAAP and GAAS compliance
• Assist in applying auditing methodologies to improve accuracy and reliability of audits
• Engage in data analysis to identify financial trends and insights
• Collaborate to document processes and maintain data quality and security
• Use accounting skills to address complex transactions and reporting issues
• Observe and learn PwC practices and methodologies from experienced auditors
• Develop personal and professional skills in a supportive environment

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
