Job summary

Alignerr Corp. is seeking native-level Korean Audio Transcript Editors in the New York area for a remote, hourly contract. You will clean up transcripts, fix mistranscriptions, ensure precise timing, and apply detailed style guidelines.

You will work asynchronously on flexible hours, reviewing long transcripts and maintaining high accuracy across volumes. Prior experience in transcription or subtitle editing is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Korean (written and spoken).
• Excellent listening skills, capable of parsing fast or overlapping speech.
• Meticulous attention to detail with a focus on word-level accuracy and timing.
• Able to follow detailed style guides and formatting rules with consistency.

Responsibilities

• Listen to Korean audio recordings and review transcripts for accuracy.
• Correct mistranscriptions, missing words, and spelling errors at the word level.
• Verify and adjust precise timing and alignment of transcript segments.
• Apply detailed style and formatting guidelines consistently across tasks.
• Flag audio quality issues or content needing special handling.
• Maintain high accuracy across large volumes of transcript work.
• Work independently and asynchronously with flexible scheduling.
