Job summary

Kona Ice Findlay is seeking energetic individuals to join our Krew as a Kona Ice Event Specialist. You will serve customers, drive the Kona Ice truck to events, take orders quickly, handle payments, and help with setup and breakdown of events.

This role offers part-time or full-time hours depending on season, with a flexible schedule and opportunities to earn tips. Comfort with standing 6–8 hours and a willingness to pass a background check are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced customer service environments.
• Able to drive a Kona Ice truck and manage basic deliveries.
• Reliable transportation and weekend/evening availability.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve customers with positivity and enthusiasm.
• Drive Kona Ice truck to and from events.
• Take orders with speed and accuracy.
• Follow sanitation and food safety guidelines, perform basic cleaning.
• Accept payments and operate Square POS.
• Prepare and stock unit and track events.

Kona Ice Findlay is part of the largest mobile food truck business in the world! We are an event-based business that participates in a wide variety of local activities, such as school events, sports, games, tournaments, large festivals, concerts, corporate events, neighborhood get togethers, wedding's, birthday's, and other unique events. We are looking for motivated and charismatic servers/drivers to join our local Krew to help deliver the Kona Ice Experience. We offer part-time hours and depending on your availability during the season, we can offer full-time hours as well.

Kona IceDrivers must be at least 18years old with a clean driving record and have reliable transportation.If you love a fast-paced work environment, meeting new people, enjoy being a team player and want to make a lot of money, then working here is a perfect fit. Working with children is non-negotiable.

Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

• Greeting and serving customers with consistency positivity and enthusiasm
• Be comfortable driving a Kona ice truck to and from events
• Taking orders with speed and accuracy
• Closely following sanitation and food safety preparations perform basic cleaning of unit/warehouse
• Accept payments and operate square point of sale
• Complete beginning and end of shift prepping stocking and event tracking

Requirements

Has a great driving record with 2 year clean record?

Capable of lifting 25 lbs overhead?

Do you have reliable transportation?

Can you stand 6-8 hours at a time?

Can you drive 1-2 hours?

May be required to pass a background check.
