Job description

Are you a collaborative, problem solver who thrives in complexity and is energized by evolving how organizations use information? Do you enjoy turning historical context and data into something people can actually use—and helping teams change how they work along the way? If so, the Archives & Knowledge Management team could be the right fit for you.

Archives & Knowledge Management is an evolving function focused on making institutional history and knowledge more actionable across the enterprise. We are building modern systems, standards, and practices that allow historical materials from the archives to be used alongside enterprise data—supporting research, insight‑driven storytelling, and better decision‑making. At the same time, we partner closely to support Corporate Communications as they elevate the maturity of information management, improving how information is organized, found, shared, and reused across the function.

We are seeking a team member who is enthusiastic about driving change in a growing and evolving organization. This role will lead complex, cross‑functional initiatives that connect archives, data, and storytelling; provide governance and direction for knowledge and information management practices; and influence how teams across Corporate Communications and the broader enterprise manage and use information. The ideal candidate is comfortable shaping work that is still taking form, bringing clarity, momentum, and practical solutions as the team and its impact continue to grow.

Core Responsibilities
  1. Lead complex, multi‑workstream initiatives that improve how archival and historical information is organized, integrated with enterprise data, and made usable across the organization. Drive work that advances Archives & Knowledge Management strategy, strengthens governance, and improves how teams discover and reuse institutional knowledge.
  2. Serve as a subject‑matter expert and advisor on knowledge and information management practices, drawing on prior experience to help teams avoid common pitfalls and adopt workable standards. Guide projects to ensure they align with enterprise priorities, Corporate Communications needs, and evolving business context.
  3. Communicate progress, risks, and decisions clearly and consistently to stakeholders, including Corp Comm partners, project team members, and senior leaders, ensuring shared understanding of goals, tradeoffs, and outcomes.
  4. Build and maintain effective working relationships across Archives & Knowledge Management, Corporate Communications, data partners, and other stakeholders. Proactively connect teams, facilitate shared understanding, and positively influence behavior change related to information organization, access, and reuse.
  5. Identify and address risks related to information governance, data quality, access, and long‑term usability. Propose and communicate solutions that balance archival integrity, enterprise needs, and practical adoption, securing stakeholder buy‑in where needed.
  6. Contribute expertise to special projects and evolving initiatives that support the broader goals of Archives & Knowledge Management and Corporate Communications, including efforts to raise overall information‑management maturity across the function.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of five years related work experience in knowledge management, information governance, archives, or closely related discipline. Function‑specific experience preferred.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required. Graduate degree preferred.
