Knowledge Management and Research Leader

Our Knowledge team seeks a Knowledge Management and Research Leader with expertise in knowledge management and systems implementation. This role is remote within the United States.

The role involves managing, capturing, sharing, and accessing knowledge assets, working with stakeholders to optimize organizational knowledge use. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, coaching, teamwork skills, and proficiency in knowledge base features.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a knowledge management strategy with leadership and stakeholders.
  • Set goals, objectives, and KPIs for KM initiatives.
  • Provide KM consulting and services aligned with firm needs.
  • Build relationships with client-facing leaders to enhance productivity and revenue.
  • Create frameworks for capturing, organizing, and sharing knowledge.
  • Design templates and processes for knowledge capture.
  • Oversee the intranet, ensuring information is current, accurate, and accessible.
  • Evaluate and promote information resources.
  • Manage site licenses and information sources for client profiling.
  • Integrate KM practices into project lifecycles.
  • Align KM initiatives with strategic goals.
  • Implement training on KM tools and practices.
  • Monitor and improve KM initiatives via KPIs and feedback.
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years in knowledge management, library science, or information management.
  • Experience designing and implementing KM systems.
  • Proven success in improving organizational performance.
  • Experience working in hybrid and dispersed environments.
  • Strong understanding of KM principles and emerging tools like AI.
  • Leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
  • Knowledge management certification is a plus.
