We Are

Accenture is recognized as a global leader in AI and cloud transformation, helping businesses across industries reimagine the digital core for an AI-native operating model. Through partnerships with frontier AI labs such as Anthropic and OpenAI, and the leading cloud providers, Accenture delivers end-to-end services that drive innovation and business agility.

You Are

An engineer who believes agents need meaning, not just data — fluent across the knowledge-graph lifecycle and most at home when an ontology is shaped against a real business problem rather than modeled in the abstract.

The Work

At the Manager grade you lead the ontology work on a single engagement: schema and taxonomy design, knowledge-graph construction, retrieval-augmented generation over the resulting corpus, and the agent context engineering that makes the knowledge consumable (all four are named skills on this family's W16 matrix). At the Senior Manager grade you hold authority across engagements and shape the method. We assess that fit at interview, not at requisition.

Travel may be required for this role

The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

Here’s what you need
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in knowledge engineering, semantic web, ontology design, or taxonomy/data modeling, with at least 1–2 years specifically on AI/LLM-based work.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with knowledge graph technologies, including RDF, SPARQL, property graphs, and/or SHACL, and graph databases such as Neo4j, Amazon Neptune, or equivalent.
  • AI‑adjacent experience counts toward the bars above: strong credentials in the neighboring discipline combined with 1–2 years of hands‑on LLM work is exactly the profile we grow.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with retrieval‑augmented generation and agent context engineering in production or near‑production contexts.
  • Minimum of 2 years leading a team or workstream within a larger program.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in agile engineering or consulting teams.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate's Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience).
Bonus Points If You Have
  • Entity-resolution experience at enterprise scale.
  • Experience co‑designing ontologies with engineering teams mid‑build rather than delivering them as documents.
  • Vector-store fluency (Qdrant, Pinecone, or equivalent) alongside the graph stack.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
