Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. in Almena, WI is hiring a Knockout/Punch Operator to ensure product quality and proper line operation. This full-time role requires data entry, PLC setup, and careful handling of chemicals, with focus on sanitation and GMP adherence.

You will operate the 701 washer systems, natamycin bath, and punch machinery, perform aseptic sampling, and maintain equipment concentrations while contributing to accurate production records and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Ability to read and understand instructions.
• Proficient in use of the computer.
• Solid organizational, analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
• Follow sanitation and GMPs; adhere to SOPs.
• Able to manipulate, lift and position heavy equipment; lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to handle and use cleaning chemicals safely.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the quality and appearance of the product.
• Complete appropriate data entry/PLC machine setup.
• Maintain 701 washer and chemical concentration.
• Conduct aseptic cheese sampling.
• Operate natamycin bath and maintain concentration.
• Operate punch machine and metal detector.
• Complete all production documentation and sanitation/preops.
