Job summary

BlackHawk Industrial in Whiteland, IN is hiring a Warehouse Assistant in the Kitting department. The role handles receiving, sorting, staging, picking, and shipping with emphasis on accuracy and safety.

The position requires basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory processes, ISO procedures, and strong communication. Physical work includes lifting up to 50 pounds and standard day hours, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Proficient with basic computer operation and the named software.
• Proficient knowledge of basic mathematical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Punctual and timely action.
• Able to follow ISO procedures.
• Basic product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify shipments against packing slips.
• Sort, maintain, and stage product accurately.
• Pick, package, and ship orders per tickets.
• Log non-conforming goods and coordinate with purchasing.
• Perform cycle counts and address discrepancies with Purchasing.
• Maintain clean, organized workspace and records.
• Perform hands-on tasks using trade hardware/software and basic data processing.
• Follow ISO processes and perform other duties as assigned.
