Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Las Vegas, NV is hiring a First (1st) Shift Kitting Technician. The role involves assembling and packaging kits by reading work orders and SOPs, with a 6:00am–4:30pm shift on Monday to Thursday and overtime as needed. Pay is $24.35 per hour.

You will support inventory control, quality assurance, staging and delivery, and adhere to safety regulations including PPE. An Associate Degree or equivalent, forklift certification within 30 days, and at least 6 months in a complex

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment.
• Must have 6 months experience in a complex kitting, assembly environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and produce quality work in a clean room environment.
• Maintain area and tool cleanliness and readiness.
• Perform various complex assembly work of modified parts to produce customized kits.
• Manage inventory and control between production steps.
• Use tools to assemble parts and ensure accuracy.
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet production goals.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Position: First (1st) Shift Kitting Technician

Shift: 6:00am 4:30pm Monday –; Thursday, Overtime as needed Pay: $24.35 per hour

The core responsibilities of this role include: Kit assembly read work orders, blueprints and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to pull and package exact parts, tools or materials.

Requirements:

• Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, track part shortages, and use warehouse management or inventory software to process finished kits.
• Quality Assurance: Verify that components match part numbers, check for defects or damage before packing and accurately label kits.
• Staging and Delivery: Deliver completed kits to production lines, assembly floores, or designated work areas to prevent workflow delays.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere to strict workplace regulations, which often include FOD (Foreign Object Debris) prevention and using PPE like steel-toe shoes or cleanroom suits.

Kitting Technician Role Profile

Role Purpose:

The kitting technician will be required to assemble, inspect, clean, package and kit machined parts and bought-in items necessary for various customized types of kits.

Key Accountabilities:

• Responsible to assemble components and produce quality work, free from errors in a clean room environment.
• Responsible for area and tool maintenance & cleanliness.
• Responsible for various complex assembly work of modified parts to produce customized kits.
• Responsible for inventory management and control.
• Knowledge and ability to use tools to assemble parts.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team to ensure production goals are met.

Required Education and Experience:

• Associate Degree or equivalent in a related field of study
