Job summary

Alexander Dennis, a global leader in bus manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to ensure efficient movement, storage, and management of materials for the production line. Onsite, 40 hours per week with 10-hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Thursday, with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in material handling or warehousing.
• Experience operating material handling equipment including forklifts and cherry pickers.
• Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming materials to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper storage of materials.
• Coordinate with production teams to understand material needs and schedules.
• Select and prepare materials for production processes efficiently and safely.
• Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and products as needed.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and assist with stock replenishment efforts.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards in all handling and storage practices.
