KOKI Group in Braselton, GA is seeking a Kitting & Assembly Operations Lead to oversee daily material flow, ensure workflow efficiency, and support kitting and assembly activities on the production floor.

You will supervise forklift operations, coordinate with quality and shipping teams, and apply 5S and lean methods to reduce waste while maintaining safety and production targets.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
  • Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, or kitting operations.
  • Ability to operate or learn automated production equipment, including robotic palletizers.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Deliver components, packaging materials, and finished goods to and from kitting workstations.
  • Stage materials for production to ensure uninterrupted workflow.
  • Transport finished pallets to designated warehouse or shipping locations.
  • Monitor material inventory levels on the production floor and replenish supplies as needed.
  • Assist with inventory organization and material movements throughout the facility.
  • Support kitting associates during periods of high production demand.
  • Assist with kit assembly, packaging, labeling, and scanning activities.
  • Ensure workstations remain organized, fully stocked, and operating efficiently.
  • Help resolve production bottlenecks and maintain workflow throughout the shift.
  • Perform in-process quality checks according to established work instructions.
  • Verify components, labels, and completed kits meet quality standards.
  • Assist the Quality team with inspections, audits, and containment activities when required.
  • Identify quality concerns and immediately communicate issues to supervisors or Quality personnel.
  • Operate and monitor robotic palletizing equipment.
  • Clear minor faults and jams while following established safety procedures.
  • Verify pallet patterns and finished pallet quality.
  • Coordinate pallet flow to prevent production interruptions.
  • Escalate equipment issues requiring maintenance support.
  • Wrap, secure, and label finished pallets for shipment or storage.
  • Ensure pallets meet shipping and safety requirements.
  • Maintain accurate pallet identification and inventory movement.
  • Support shipping activities as needed.
  • Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S principles.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Report equipment issues, safety concerns, and process improvement opportunities.

Kitting & Assembly Operations Lead
Position Summary

The Kitting & Assembly Operations Lead is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the kitting department by ensuring materials, equipment, and production lines operate efficiently. This position serves as the primary support resource for material flow, quality assistance, robotic palletizing operations, and warehouse coordination while also assisting with kitting and assembly activities as needed.

The Kitting Operations Lead plays a critical role in maintaining production efficiency, ensuring product quality, supporting continuous workflow, and promoting a safe working environment. This is a hands-on operational position that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Material Handling & Logistics
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Ability to operate or learn automated production equipment, including robotic palletizers.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic computer skills preferred.
