Job summary

KOKI Group in Braselton, GA is seeking a Kitting and Assembly Associate to assemble kits, inspect components, label, and prepare products for shipment in line with quality and productivity standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Assemble kits according to instructions, production schedules, and specifications.
  • Apply labels and identification tags accurately to products and packaging.
  • Perform basic assembly tasks, including preparation and inspection of components prior to packaging.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure all kit contents are accurate, complete, and meet company standards.
  • Scan products and components using barcode scanners and update inventory systems as required.
  • Pack products using approved packaging materials and methods to ensure safe transportation.
  • Stage materials and replenish workstations to maintain continuous workflow.
  • Assist with palletizing, wrapping, and preparing completed orders for shipment.
  • Maintain accurate production records and report discrepancies or shortages to supervisors.
  • Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas using 5S principles.

Kitting and Assembly Associate Position Summary The Kitting and Assembly associate is responsible for assembling, inspecting, packaging, and preparing products for shipment in accordance with established quality and productivity standards. This role supports all aspects of the kitting process, including material handling, labeling, scanning, quality checks, and maintaining an organize and safe work environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assemble kits according to work instructions, production schedules, and specifications.
  • Apply labels and identification tags accurately to products and packaging.
  • Perform basic assembly tasks, including preparation and inspection of components prior to packaging.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure all kit contents are accurate, complete, and meet company standards.
  • Scan products and components using barcode scanners and update inventory systems as required.
  • Pack products using approved packaging materials and methods to ensure safe transportation.
  • Operate basic warehouse equipment and assist with automated equipment as trained.
  • Stage materials and replenish workstations to maintain continuous workflow.
  • Assist with palletizing, wrapping, and preparing completed orders for shipment.
  • Maintain accurate production records and report discrepancies or shortages to supervisors.
  • Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas using 5S principles.
  • Support cross-functional activities and perform other warehouse or production duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in kitting, assembly, manufacturing, packaging, or warehouse operations preferred.
  • Experience using barcode scanners and working with inventory systems is a plus.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong commitment to quality, safety, and productivity.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive hand movements.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse or production environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
Performance Expectations:
  • Meet established productivity and quality standards.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy in kit assembly and inventory transactions.
  • Adhere to all safety requirements and contribute to a safe work environment.
