Job summary

Ontario Trillium Foundation is seeking a Kitchen/Warehouse Crew Member to support both kitchen and warehouse operations, including food preparation, cooking, packaging, and logistics in a fast-paced environment.

You will cross-train across roles, contribute to quality and teamwork, and help ensure safe, efficient operations. The role requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to stand for extended periods while collaborating with a team.

Qualifications

• Prior kitchen experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn and follow food safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Cut and process vegetables in the kitchen.
• Perform light cooking duties, such as cooking chickpeas.
• Make toum, signature sauces, and marinades in the kitchen.
• Pickle vegetables in the kitchen.
• Run packaging machines in the warehouse.
• Handle shipping and receiving in the warehouse.
• Drive the hi-lo, valid certification (or paid for by the company).
• Follow basic food safety guidelines or be willing to learn
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Work alongside others and be a team player.
• Wear multiple hats and cross-train as needed.
