Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Pueblo, Colorado is seeking a Kitchen Utility Worker to keep our kitchen clean, safe and running smoothly. You will set up and maintain dishwashing and pot washing areas, operate dish machines, and sanitize dishes, cookware and glassware as part of daily kitchen operations.

You’ll complete temperature, sanitation and equipment logs, help with food prep and plating when needed, assist with proper storage and FIFO, and support dining room cleaning and light service.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain dishwashing and pot washing areas
• Operate dish machines and ensure proper sanitation procedures
• Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils and glassware
• Complete and maintain temperature, sanitation and equipment logs
• Clean kitchen equipment including ovens, fryers, mixers and refrigerators
• Perform janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, trash removal and sanitizing surfaces
• Assist with food prep and plating as needed
• Support proper storage, labeling and rotation of food and supplies (FIFO)
• Maintain safe storage of cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Assist in dining room cleaning, table resetting and light meal service when assigned
• Follow all OSHA, food safety and Sunrise safety standards

Pay Range:

15.21 – 19.01
