Job summary

Wynn Resorts, Limited in Las Vegas is seeking a dedicated Utility Porter to maintain cleanliness of kitchen facilities and equipment. You will handle cleaning of cooking devices, washing and polishing equipment, and sorting dishes while adhering to health and safety standards.

This role requires reliability, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and willingness to perform all porter and kitchen worker duties. You must be 18+ and able to lift and move heavy loads as needed.

Qualifications

• Must communicate in English, written and oral.
• Experience in kitchen stewarding or similar; preferred but not required.
• Experience as stove cleaner in a high-volume establishment preferred.
• Ability to work with industrial chemicals and in a team.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment with standing.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 400 lbs; operate heavy machinery.
• Must use Personal Protective Equipment.
• Must obtain/maintain licensing or work cards as required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• The Porter is responsible for cleaning all cooking devices such as stoves, grills, ovens, broilers, burner tops, steamer ovens, kettle-braisers, hood panels, deep fryers, dishwasher machines, stainless steel counters, drains, etc.
• The Porter is responsible for washing, cleaning, and polishing equipment to ensure it is ready for use.
• Responsible for sorting and cleaning dishes, silverware, glasses, utensils, and assorted items as well as washing pots and pans.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of work area and equipment in accordance with the Health Department standards, and any other duties as assigned by Department Management.
• Responsible for bio-hazard cleanup.
• Candidate is expected to be prompt, present, and prepared for all scheduled shifts and adhere to all company/departmental standards.
• Candidates are responsible for performing all duties associated with Porter and Kitchen Worker positions.
