Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Broomfield, CO is hiring a Kitchen Utility Worker to keep the kitchen clean, safe and running smoothly. You will perform dishwashing, equipment cleaning, sanitation checks and basic food prep while assisting with dining room duties and proper food storage.

The role supports sanitation standards, uses safe chemical storage practices, and participates in routine logs and cleanliness tasks to ensure a well-run dining environment for residents.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain dishwashing and pot washing areas.
• Operate dish machines and ensure proper sanitation procedures.
• Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils and glassware.
• Complete and maintain temperature, sanitation and equipment logs.
• Clean kitchen equipment including ovens, fryers, mixers and refrigerators.
• Perform janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, trash removal and sanitizing surfaces.
• Assist with food prep and plating as needed.
• Support proper storage, labeling and rotation of food and supplies (FIFO).
• Maintain safe storage of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Assist in dining room cleaning, table resetting and light meal service when assigned.
