Love's Travel Stops in Ohio is hiring a Kitchen Team Member to deliver friendly, top-notch customer service while keeping the deli area clean, stocked, and inviting. No experience? We will teach you!

You'll prepare deli products, assist with store operations, and learn food safety practices. This role offers flexible scheduling, paid time off, and room for career growth within a nationwide, employee‑owned company.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Ability to deliver friendly customer service in a deli setting.
• Willingness to learn and follow food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties, answer questions about menu offerings, and assist cashier team with deli upkeep.
• Accurately prepare deli products per guides: salads, fruit, sandwiches, wraps, parfaits, etc.
• Follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Cross-train in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, and Maintenance.
• Move and lift 25+ pounds; work in varying temperatures.

As a Kitchen Team Member, your role goes beyond daily tasks. You will interact with people from all walks of life, brightening their day with top-notch customer service and maintaining a clean, stocked deli area. No experience? No problem! We will teach you!

Job Functions:

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs. Additionally, assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Additional duties could include cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
