Chick-fil-A in Rockford, IL is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to assist with high-quality food prep, maintain a clean workstation, and contribute to a positive guest experience.

This role requires lifting up to 30 lbs, operating fryers and other equipment, and adhering to safety and cleanliness standards. The position offers flexible shifts, including weekends, with benefits such as a free meal every shift and health insurance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week including Saturdays.
• Must be punctual and prepared for work each day.
• Able to prepare food quickly while meeting quality standards.
• Able to read orders on the Kitchen Production Screen.
• Able to lift and carry at least 30 lbs.
• Able to operate pressure fryers, open fryers, trash compactors, and chicken shredders.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen including dishes, floors, counters, etc.
• Meet handbook requirements including uniform and conduct.

Job Description: A kitchen team member will exhibit high-level service by preparing quality products in a timely manner, maintaining a clean work station, and showing a positive attitude towards fellow team members and guests.

Job Responsibilities:

- Food prep and order fulfillment

- Maintaining Food Safety Standards at all times

- Operating fryers, ovens, and bladed machinery

- Maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen including dishes, floors, counters, etc.

- Fostering a positive work environment

Job Requirements:

- Willing and able to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week with availability that includes Saturdays

- Willing and able to show up on time and prepared for work each day

- Willing and able to prepare food in a timely manner and adhere to quality standards

- Willing and able to read and comprehend orders on the Kitchen Production Screen

- Willing and able to lift and carry a minimum of 30 lbs

- Willing and able to operate machinery such as pressure fryers, open fryers, trash compactors, and chicken shredders

- Willing and able to maintain cleanliness of kitchen area, including all dishes, floors, and food contact surfaces

- Willing and able to meet handbook requirements such as uniform, employee professionalism, and conduct
