Job summary

Great American Restaurants in Northern Virginia and Maryland is seeking energetic Kitchen Team Members to join a scratch kitchen. Start pay is $17/hr or more based on experience, with flexible AM/PM shifts, paid training, and growth opportunities.

As a kitchen teammate, you’ll prepare ingredients, portion and store food, and work as a fast-paced team to ensure quality meals for our guests. You’ll maintain cleanliness, handle multiple tasks, and stay calm under pressure.

Qualifications

• Must be able to prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
• Serve menu items according to set recipes and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure timely and efficient food production.
• Able to multitask.
• Cool and calm under pressure.
• Work with a sense of urgency 100%.
• Clean kitchen equipment appropriately and stock supplies.
