Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking kitchen/serving staff to prepare breakfast and lunch offerings, assist with serving lines, and participate in occasional catering events.

The role covers all kitchen positions, with pay rates varying by state and position. A strong focus on food safety and presentation is required. Responsibilities include daily line setup, menu-based food prep, and ensuring proper temperatures.

Qualifications

• Reading comprehension of simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure; compute rate, ratio, and percent.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the set-up of serving lines daily and ensure items are held at proper temperatures.
• Assist in food preparation according to menu plan and recipes; prep for next day.
• Operate kitchen equipment with proper certification and maintain cleanliness.
• Maintain FIFO inventory, keep cooler/storage organized, and restock as needed.
• Prepare baked goods per menu and present them appealingly to customers.
• Serve items with proper portions and utensils; ensure quality presentation and hospitality.
