Job summary

Great American Restaurants is hiring Kitchen Team Members for our scratch kitchen in the Washington DC metropolitan area. Starting pay is $17/hr or more based on experience, with AM and PM shifts available and paid training.

As a member of the team, you will prepare ingredients, cook to recipes, maintain a clean workspace, and collaborate to ensure timely food production. We offer health insurance, PTO, and a 401K plan based on eligibility, plus employee food discounts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.

• Collaborate with the team to ensure timely and efficient food production.
• Able to multitask.
• Cool and calm under pressure.
• Work with a sense of urgency 100%.
• Clean kitchen equipment appropriately and stock supplies.
• Perform any additional tasks to help support business needs.
