Job summary

Great American Restaurants is hiring a Kitchen Team Member for our scratch kitchen and BBQ spot in the DC metro area. You’ll join a fun, high-energy team and help deliver consistent, high-quality dishes.

Starting pay is $17 per hour or more based on experience. You’ll prepare ingredients, maintain a clean workspace, and collaborate to ensure timely food production. Benefits include health insurance, PTO, 401(k) based on eligibility, paid training, and an employee food discount.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
• Serve menu items according to set recipes and quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
• Collaborate with the team to ensure timely and efficient food production

• Cool and calm under pressure
• Work with a sense of urgency 100%
• Clean kitchen equipment appropriately and stock supplies
• Perform any additional tasks to help support business needs
