Qualifications

• Must have High school Diploma/GED with a completion of culinary arts program.
• Good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft computer programs.
• Must have ServSafe certification within thirty (30) days from date of hire.
• Driver’s license valid in New Jersey with limited points.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily guidance and support to food service staff.
• Coordinate work assignments to ensure efficient meal service operations.
• Monitor staff adherence to food safety, sanitation, and policies.
• Report operational concerns, equipment issues, and staffing needs to management.
• Assist Food Service Director with menu preparation and planning for events.
• Maintain inventories of food, beverages, supplies, and kitchen equipment.
• Prepare and store deliveries according to food safety standards.
• Ensure meals are prepared and served according to menus and dietary requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation across kitchen and dining areas.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
