Job summary

Habit Burger Grill in Union, NJ is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader to set the standard in the back of the house. You will supervise fry, broiler, make-up, and other stations, train cooks, and help control food and labor costs while delivering high-quality, safe meals.

You must lead with strong communication, coach BOH staff, and ensure health and safety standards are followed on every shift, with opportunities for advancement within the restaurant management team.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in related food service position.
• Food Manager Certificate and/or ServSafe Manager Certificate required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on restaurant needs.
• Strong communication and leadership能力 in English.

You should be trained and able to perform duties of all stationsin the kitchen, including Fryer, Broiler, Make-up, Quarterback, and Lead Cook. In the Kitchen Team Leader position,strong leadership, and communication skills are key. You will work closely under the management team to train anddevelop our Cooks; help control food and labor costs; meet sales goals and other targets; and ensure health and safetystandards are followed at all times. .
