Job summary

I Knead Coffee is seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager to lead the kitchen during service, ensuring meals are prepared accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will support daily operations, handle prep, organize workflow, and help uphold quality and presentation standards.

• Support daily kitchen operations, including prep, organization, and execution of menu items.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels, monitor product usage, and communicate ordering needs.
• Ensure proper food storage, labeling, rotation, and waste control.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and equipment throughout the day.
• Uphold and manage the kitchen’s cleaning and maintenance schedule.
• Identify and report equipment or facility maintenance issues promptly.
• Train and support kitchen staff in proper procedures, recipes, food safety, cleanliness, and service standards.
• Help maintain I Knead Coffee’s standards for food quality, portioning, presentation, and speed of service.
