Newberry Estates Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to support our kitchen team and ensure clean and safe dining experiences for residents. The role emphasizes sanitation, proper handling of dishes, and collaboration with staff to maintain a welcoming dining environment.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong English communication, and prior experience in food service or hospitality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Prior experience in dining, food service, or hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Dishwashing & sanitation.
• Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans throughout the shift.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, kitchen equipment, and food preparation spaces.
• Follow cleaning schedules and complete assigned daily, weekly, and monthly sanitation checklists.
• Use proper techniques for handling, washing, and sanitizing kitchen tools and equipment in compliance with state and Mosaic standards.
• Ensure cleaning supplies and chemicals are used safely and according to OSHA and infection control guidelines.
• Return all cleaned dishes and utensils to their proper storage locations in a timely manner.
