Job summary

Ruby's Southern Comfort Kitchen in Bowie, MD seeks a dependable full-time cleaner to maintain a spotless kitchen, restrooms, dining room, and exterior areas. You’ll touch every part of the restaurant each shift, lift up to 50 lbs, and work outdoors in varying weather. Weekend work is required and training is provided for kitchen or custodial tasks.

Qualifications

• Dependable and punctual with reliable attendance.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather.

• Experience in janitorial, custodial, or kitchen work is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and restock dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Keep kitchen, restrooms, dining room clean and stocked throughout shifts.
• Assist with basic prep and maintain clean dining and service areas.
• Sweep, mop, and manage floors; remove trash and debris.
• Report maintenance or safety issues to management as needed.
• Maintain outer perimeter cleanliness and light maintenance tasks.
