Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a Kitchen Steward at the Houston Marriott Westchase, a premier full‑service Marriott property in Houston. You will support the culinary team with dishwashing, sanitation, and basic kitchen tasks to ensure smooth operations in a high‑volume setting.

Ideal candidates will have restaurant dishwashing experience, be able to work mornings or evenings across five days, and maintain strict health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a kitchen steward in a full‑service hotel, restaurant, or similar food service environment is desired.
• Availability to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly and stand for long periods.
• Food Handler Certification or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate large commercial dishwasher equipment to wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans.
• Hand scrub pots and pans; burnish silverware where needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and back‑of‑house areas.
• Remove trash and food waste according to safety standards.
• Ensure kitchen equipment and supplies are cleaned, stored, and maintained.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic support tasks as needed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines.
• Report safety or maintenance concerns promptly.
