Vicar's Landing in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL is seeking a Kitchen Steward to support daily dining operations by maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment. You will assist with sanitation, dishwashing, inventory organization, and food delivery alongside the Executive Chef and Dining Services team.

This role emphasizes food safety, teamwork, and reliability, with opportunities to grow in hospitality and senior living dining services, including training and daily meal coverage.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic kitchen sanitation and food safety practices.
• Ability to read, write, follow instructions, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and safety.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically active environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout kitchen, storage, and food preparation areas.
• Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, cookware, utensils, carts, and other kitchen equipment.
• Operate dishwashing and sanitation equipment while monitoring temperatures and chemical levels.
• Stock, organize, rotate, and store food and non-food supplies according to procedures.
• Deliver food and supplies to service areas and assist with basic food preparation as needed.
• Follow safety standards and report equipment issues or hazards.
