Job summary

Kaiya Beach Resort in Inlet Beach, FL is hiring motivated Stewards to maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen. This role supports the culinary team by keeping dish areas and equipment sanitary, organized, and ready for service.

Training is available, and punctual, detail-oriented individuals who work well in a team are encouraged to apply. Shifts include evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed; prior stewarding or cleaning experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Stewarding or dishwashing experience is helpful; training is available.
• Follow sanitation instructions and established cleaning procedures.
• Comfort working efficiently in a busy kitchen and maintaining order.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Washing, sanitizing, air-drying, and organizing cookware, utensils and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized dish area during the shift and separate clean/soiled items.
• Keep floors, sinks, drains, shelving and back-of-house spaces clean as directed.
• Operate dishwashing equipment safely and follow sanitation concentrations.
• Keep chemicals labeled and stored separately from food items; report shortages.
• Remove trash and participate in scheduled deep-cleaning tasks.
• Return clean items to proper locations and report damages.
• Follow opening/closing procedures and assist with cleaning tasks as needed.
• Communicate respectfully with chefs and teammates; uphold hospitality standards.
