Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a dishwashing associate for Windrose on Hudson, a Riverside Conference Experience near Croton Bay. You will help maintain clean dishes, cookware, and prep areas while adhering to safety and sanitation standards.

The role emphasizes a reliable, team-oriented approach in a busy kitchen environment. The position requires standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds, with compensation at $18.00 per hour.

Competenze

• High school education; or GED preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Mansioni

• Maintains china/dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment and utensils in clean and orderly and sanitary condition.
• Scrapes/rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment.
• Ensure complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Wash pots, pans, and trays based on assigned procedures.
• Let dry completely before storing or reusing.
• Polishes silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel, and hand cloth depending on assigned equipment and procedures.
• Ensure complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Maintain and track temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards.
• Let supervisor know in a timely manner if levels are off.
• Clean and maintain dish area in an orderly manner to include mats, clear walkway and in compliance with all other safety standards.
• Sw eeps and mops kitchen floors at appropriate intervals to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks and all other food prep surface as assigned.
• Segregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers.
• Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans in appropriate and assigned areas.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas observing all safe lifting standards.
• May assist with loading or unloading supplies and product.
• Perform other functions and duties as assigned.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
