Job summary

Senior Solutions Management Group is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to support the preparation and service of meals for residents, while ensuring cleanliness in the Kitchen and Dining Room. Duties include sanitizing dishware, maintaining proper temperatures, labeling and storing items, and adhering to safety standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to policies, and ongoing training to maintain high-quality food service in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak English clearly.
• Must possess a high school diploma as a minimum.
• Must be able to follow safety precautions in Dietary.
• Must wear slip-resistant shoes.
• Recommended training in cost control, food management, diet therapy, etc.

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness of Kitchen and Dining Room.
• Ensures all dishware and preparation tools are cleaned and sanitized after use.
• Assists in preparation and service of food using proper food handling techniques.
• Keeps work area clean and free of clutter.
• Maintains proper food temperatures during preparation and service and records temperatures as required.
• Maintains temperature and sanitation of dish machine and records temperatures.
• Labels, dates and stores food and chemicals properly.
• Monitors refrigerator/freezer temperatures and reports discrepancies.
• Washes pots, pans and serving utensils and stores them properly to prevent contamination.
• Reports hazardous or malfunctioning equipment to supervisor.
• Suggests equipment improvements to enhance food service quality.
• Maintains good working relationships with all staff and participates in in-service training and orientation.
