Job summary

Schlotzsky’s is hiring – Kitchen Team Members for a fast-paced deli where teamwork and fresh ingredients matter. No grills or fryers involved, and you’ll help assemble sandwiches, pizzas, and salads.

This role offers flexible scheduling, the possibility of full-time or part-time hours, and pay ranging from $9.00 to $12.00 per hour. We provide meal discounts, an upbeat work environment, and clear opportunities for advancement for the right people.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and stock workstations with fresh ingredients and supplies.

• Operate deli equipment (ovens and prep tools) with safety and cleanliness.
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards to keep a clean kitchen.
• Communicate effectively with teammates for smooth service.
• Support daily prep routines to maintain product freshness and quality.
• Assist with inventory, restocking, and kitchen cleanliness during shifts.

At Schlotzsky’s, our Kitchen Team Members are the heart of our deli operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and enjoys working with quality ingredients to create sandwiches, pizzas, salads, and more — no grills or fryers, no grease!

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and stock workstations with fresh ingredients and supplies


• Assemble sandwiches, pizzas, and salads with accuracy, speed, and attention to detail


• Operate deli equipment including ovens and prep tools (no open-flame cooking involved)


• Follow food safety and sanitation standards to keep a clean and organized kitchen


• Communicate effectively with teammates to ensure smooth and efficient service


• Support daily prep routines to maintain product freshness and quality


• Assist with inventory, restocking, and kitchen cleanliness throughout the shift
