Qualifications

• Experience in food service or kitchen operations is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are required.
• Ability to lift and carry objects weighing 15–25 pounds.
• Capable of maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in a school environment.

Responsibilities

• Receives orders from supervisor and assists staff and visitors.
• Maintains cleanliness and service standards daily.
• Operates with accuracy when processing orders and entering data.
• Assists with basic food preparation and dishwashing tasks.
• Ensures work area remains clean and organized throughout the day.
• Follows all safety rules and building procedures.

Job description

We are looking for qualified full-time, day shiftkitchen staff to joinour dedicated team.

Responsibilities:

Performs general cleaning and minor maintenance duties in maintaining school building, adjacent walks and grounds, and equipment in clean, orderly and functional condition. Provides assistance to staff, visitors and other employees as necessary.

• Receives orders fromSupervisor.
• Providing excellent customer service
• Processing orders quickly and accurately
• Maintaining cleanliness and service standards daily
• Process orders and enter them accurately into the system
• Receive payment from the customer and process change
• Ensure that the work area is clean throughout the day
• Clean equipment and utensils, removes trash, sweep and mop work area, dust and clean.
• Performs work according to standard procedure and by building's operational schedule.
• Cleaning dishes, some cooking
• Other duties as assigned
• Follows all applicable safety rules and procedures.

Qualifications:

• The skills and knowledge required would generally be obtained with previous experience
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions.
• Ability to relate to officials, staff and public in a courteous manner.
• Ability to lift and carry objects weighing from 15 to 25 pounds.
• Ability to work occasionally in poor weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, or snow.
