Job summary

University of Maryland Medical System in Largo, MD is seeking a food service helper to clean and sanitize workstations, set up sinks per HAACP guidelines, and ensure timely storage of deliveries. Qualifications

• 1-6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred: High School Diploma/GED

Responsibilities

• Pull and empty trash containers throughout the shift.
• Distributes supplies, utensils, and equipment needed by kitchen staff
• Maintain all coolers and walk-ins for cleanliness and organization of products
• Make sure all recycling vessels are utilized correctly, and dumpster area maintained according to department guidelines
• Set all sanitizer and soap buckets on workstations throughout kitchen
• Proper use of automatic chemical dispenser to obtain cleaning products for kitchen and retain areas
• Assures compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements
• Performs other duties and functions as assigned
