Off The Hook in Zachary, LA is seeking a Cook to set the tone by ensuring all food meets our high standards in a fast-paced Cajun kitchen.

You'll work with a team to prep and cook, keeping the kitchen organized and clean, delivering premium Real Cajun Real Fast dishes, while following all safety procedures.

Qualifications

• 1 year of restaurant experience.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred.
• Must complete all required Off The Hook company training programs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality meals that meet our restaurant's standards
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen, maintaining a high level of energy
• Take pride in crafting exceptional dishes and delivering a memorable dining experience
• Handle a variety of kitchen tasks, including food preparation, cooking and cleaning
• Follow all food safety regulations and procedures, including proper handling and storage of food, to prevent contamination and ensure the health of guests.
• Use kitchen equipment and appliances safely and effectively, performing basic maintenance and reporting any malfunctions to management
• Work closely with other kitchen team and communicate effectively to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth kitchen operations

Requirements For Success

• Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple priorates that may be change
• Able to work a variety of shifts including days, weekends, and travel as needed for work related functions and training
• 1 year of restaurant experience
• Must complete all required Off The Hook company training programs
• Must be 16 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred
• Possess a valid driver's license
