Job summary

Fogo de Chão is hiring for a Kitchen Prep role in New Jersey. You’ll support preparation and presentation of salad bar items, side dishes, and desserts following recipes while maintaining high quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities include inventory control, storage, expiration tracking, and keeping kitchen areas clean. Weekend availability and the ability to stand for long periods are required. Benefits for full-time team members are provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to transport objects up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Full-time benefits are available for eligible team members.

Responsibilities

• Provides support through preparation and proper presentation of all salad bar items, side dishes and desserts according to recipe in an efficient manner.
• Ensures that the quality of all inventory and fresh produce are of the highest standards.
• Proper management of inventory levels including the storage area.
• Assists management with tracking of expiration dates on all products.
• Maintains cleanliness of all kitchen equipment and areas.
• Completes any beginning or closing shift duties as directed by management.
