Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Food Service Worker to assist in meal preparation, maintain records, and support daily reporting. The role emphasizes sanitation, proper food handling, and adherence to meal schedules.

The successful candidate will work under supervision to ensure quality standards, assist in cleaning and organization of kitchen areas, and contribute to a safe, efficient food service environment.

Qualifications

• Must have food safety awareness and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Able to work quickly and under pressure while maintaining quality.
• Familiarity with basic sanitation and kitchen safety practices is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu.
• Prepare a daily report that verifies transactions.
• Understand what is inclusive of a meal.
• Ensure storage of food in an accurate and sanitary manner.
• Serve food according to meal schedules and policies.
• Use and care of kitchen equipment, especially knives.
• Timely preparation of a variety of food items and beverages.
• Add garnishments to ensure customer happiness and eye appeal.
• Coordinate and assist in major cleaning of refrigerators, freezers, and cooking/serving equipment.
• Adhere to food safety regulations for sanitation, handling, and storage.
• Follow uniform policy and maintain a clean work area.
• Communicate with the Manager daily to prep the menu for the day.
