Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Food Service Worker in Frisco, TX to assist the manager with meal preparation and to maintain meal records. The role emphasizes high standards of food production, sanitation, and kitchen safety, with daily reporting and adherence to policies.

You will prepare meals, manage storage, serve according to schedules, operate kitchen equipment safely, and help with major cleaning of refrigerators and surfaces, while following uniform and PPE requirements as needed.

Qualifications

• Food service certificate may be required.
• Ability to read, write and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Capable of working quickly and concisely under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu.
• Prepare a daily report that verifies transactions.
• Understand what is inclusive of a meal.
• Ensure storage of food in an accurate and sanitary manner.
• Serve food according to meal schedules, department policies and procedures.
• Use and care of kitchen equipment, especially knives.
• Timely preparation of a variety of food items and beverages.
• Add garnishments to ensure customer happiness and eye appeal.
• Coordinate and assist in major cleaning of refrigerators, freezers, and equipment.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations for sanitation and storage.
• Adhere to the uniform policy.
• Connect with the Manager daily to understand and prepare the menu for the day.
• Supervise the food temperature requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work and storage area.
• Scrub and polish counters and sanitize steam tables and equipment.
• Follow procedures for cleanliness; duties include sweeping, mopping, ware washing.
• Maintain garbage collection site and kitchen floor areas neatly.
• Perform other duties as assigned including other kitchen areas.
• Role may include physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and standing; PPE may be required.
