Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old to apply.
• Previous kitchen experience and knife skills preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and high cleanliness standards.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Team-oriented and able to take direction.

Responsibilities

• Read, comprehend, and follow the Restaurant Food Manual, recipes, and guides.
• Follow a prep list and prioritize completion based on par levels and restaurant need.
• Adhere to labeling and storage guidelines per health regulations.
• Prepare recipes by measuring ingredients and using cooking methods.
• Clean, sanitize, and detail the prep workspace per protocol.
• Manage time to yield high quality food products.
• Operate, maintain, and sanitize all kitchen equipment.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures and restaurant protocols.
• Use proper portioning utensils and follow recipe guidelines.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and management.
• Multi-task and complete tasks safely during peak hours.
• Assist others with cooking, stocking, cleaning, and front-line support as needed.
• Safely handle, use, and store sanitation and cleaning chemicals.
• Place produce orders for the restaurant.
