Job summary

ARAMARK is seeking a Food Service Worker to assist the manager with food preparation, maintain cash receipts and meal records, and help complete daily reports. The role emphasizes high standards of food production, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices.

You will prepare meals, ensure proper storage, and adhere to safety regulations and uniform policies while working under manager supervision to deliver quality service.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Able to work quickly and concisely under pressure.
• Capable of maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in a kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu.
• Prepare a daily report that verifies transactions.
• Understand what is inclusive of a meal.
• Ensure storage of food in an accurate and sanitary manner.
• Serve food according to meal schedules and department policies.
• Use and care of kitchen equipment, especially knives.
• Timely preparation of a variety of food items and beverages.
• Add garnishments to enhance customer appeal.
• Coordinate and assist in major cleaning of refrigerators, freezers, and equipment.
• Adhere to food safety regulations for sanitation, handling, and storage.
• Follow the uniform policy and connect with the Manager daily to prepare the menu for the day.
