Job summary

Fogo de Chão in Miami is hiring Kitchen Prep to support our kitchen team and ensure top-quality presentation of salad bar items, sides, and desserts in line with our recipes.

You will assist with inventory control, verify fresh produce quality, monitor storage, track expiration dates, maintain clean equipment and work areas, and handle opening or closing shift duties as directed by management; adherence to safety standards and efficient pace required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to transport objects up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provides support through preparation and proper presentation of all salad bar items, side dishes and desserts according to recipe in an efficient manner.
• Ensures that the quality of all inventory and fresh produce are of the highest standards.
• Proper management of inventory levels including the storage area.
• Assists management with tracking of expiration dates on all products.
• Maintains cleanliness of all kitchen equipment and areas.
• Completes any beginning or closing shift duties as directed by management.
