Job summary

Kroger is seeking a dedicated store operations professional to plan, organize, and drive merchandising across Kitchen sections at 5010 S 205th St, Elkhorn, NE. The role focuses on sales growth, inventory control, pricing, and compelling in-store displays while coaching associates to deliver outstanding customer service.

The ideal candidate will manage planograms, respond to customer inquiries, and uphold safety and sanitation standards, reporting to the Store Operations team at Kroger’s Elkhorn

Responsibilities

  • Build sales and profits of assigned Kitchen sections.
  • Maintain inventory levels to maximize sales and profits.
  • Price and display all merchandise.
  • Merchandise end caps, displays and cross-merchandise within Kitchen section.
  • Maintain signage, tags and promotional materials.
  • Maintain all new planograms for the Kitchen section.
  • Respond to customer or associate comments and questions.
  • Be courteous, tactful and professional in all interactions.
  • Use Magic System to manage ordering/replenishment of all merchandise.
  • Use Magic System to ensure proper accounting and balance on hand.
  • Coach and train associates in merchandising, customer service and promotions.
  • Implement company programs and safety/sanitation policies.
  • Communicate with employees and customers to provide a positive impression.
  • Maintain equipment and facilities safely.
  • Keep Kitchen areas clean and sanitary.
  • Execute the Marketplace Sales Plan 100 percent.
  • Keep updated on planogram revisions and communications.
  • Supervise and coach direct reports; conduct performance reviews.

Job description

Plan, order, and organize of merchandise. Train, coach and direct all associates that work within the specific areas of the Kitchen Place Department. Perform production and customer service functions; maximize store sales and profits. Demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for building sales and profits of assigned Kitchen sections.
  • Maintain proper inventory levels to maximize sales and profits.
  • Responsible for pricing and displaying of all merchandise.
  • Merchandise all end caps, power wings, mission tables, vignettes and cross merchandising within assigned Kitchen section.
  • Maintain proper signage, tags and promotional materials for assigned Kitchen section.
  • Maintain all new planograms within assigned Kitchen section.
  • Respond appropriately to customer or associate comments, complaints, requests, accidents, and questions.
  • Be prompt, tactful, calm, courteous, and professional in all interactions.
  • Use Magic System to manage the ordering/replenishment of all merchandise.
  • Use Magic System to insure proper accounting of product received and balance on hand information.
  • Coach and Train associates in effective, productive merchandising techniques, customer services, product presentation, and promotional activities.
  • Implement company programs and adhere to company policies and procedures, particularly in the areas of safety and sanitation.
  • Communicate and interact with employees and customers to provide a positive impression.
  • Maintain equipment and facilities properly and safely in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain floor, shelf and Kitchen areas clean and up to sanitary standards.
  • Execute the Marketplace Sales Plan 100 percent.
  • Keep updated on all new planogram revisions, Marketing Bulletins, and notes and communication.
  • Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports.
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
