DoorDash Essentials, LLC in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Kitchen Operations Associate to prepare meals, maintain kitchen and warehouse organization, and support order fulfillment in a shared DashMart facility. You will work across morning, day, evening, weekend, and part-time shifts in a fast-paced environment.

You will ensure meals meet quality standards, follow food safety guidelines, and collaborate with DashMart Operations to keep the site efficient and clean.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or grocery operations preferred.
• Willing to obtain a Food Handler’s Certification upon hire.
• Detail oriented and committed to food quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals to brand and safety standards and ensure quality and presentation before handoff.
• Maintain organized dry, refrigerated, and frozen storage areas and clean, sanitary workspaces.

About the TeamDashMart Kitchens (DMK) is a dedicated culinary team operating within a shared DashMart facility. While we work inside a DashMart building, we are a specialized team focused on preparing high-quality meals for customers ordering through the DoorDash app.We work side-by-side with our DashMart partners to deliver a seamless customer experience — supporting both kitchen execution and shared facility standards.
