Job summary

Chick-fil-A in Lee's Summit, MO is seeking team members for the Heart of the House kitchen. No kitchen experience required; paid training is provided. You’ll work in a fast, respectful environment focused on teamwork and guest service.

Responsibilities include food prep, station rotation, stockkeeping, and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen. Flexible scheduling and opportunities for development are offered to help you grow with the team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly and efficiently, meeting Chick-fil-A standards.
• Become knowledgeable of the assignments for all nine kitchen stations, including fries, breading, assembly and cold food prep.
• Stock kitchen inventory as needed.
• Keep the kitchen neat, clean and orderly at all times.
• Keep up-to-date with new products rolled out by Chick-fil-A.
• Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to Leadership.
• Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training and stay up-to-date on any changes.
• Complete all opening or closing tasks as assigned.
• Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times.
• Other duties as assigned

Our guests enjoying their meal at Chick-fil-A begins in the kitchen, with our awesome people working "behind the scenes" in what we call our Heart of the House, our kitchen. Schedules available:

• We require a minimum of 3 shifts / week
• We are closed every Sunday
• We are typically able to create work schedules around your commitments
• Flexibility on asking for days off (with 2 weeks advanced notice)
• Flexibility with some short-notice requests for days off (IF you get someone on the team to take your shift)
• Every employee may designate two Saturdays per month as a guaranteed Saturday off
