Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations is seeking a Material Stocker for our Production team. The role involves storing, issuing, and moving materials with frequent lifting from pallets and ensuring inventory accuracy to support line readiness.

You will operate material handling equipment, assist in training associates, and contribute to daily line scheduling and improvement ideas while maintaining a neat, safe work area.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to operate a variety of material handling equipment.
• Ability to train other associates will be needed.

Responsibilities

• Stores, issues, and moves a variety of materials and products, including lifting 3–45 lbs from pallets.
• Maintains and verifies actual inventory and materials.
• Supplies parts for lines and transports material through the plant.
• Operates material handling equipment to move material throughout the plant.
• May disassemble, sort, repair, and salvage products.
• Responsible for quality and quantity of work produced.
• Assists in training other associates.
• Flexes into the line as needed.
• Ensures accuracy of inventory records and work quality.
• Maintains a neat, orderly, and safe work area.
• Plan and organize daily line schedule, including leading in the absence of a team leader.
• Identify and implement improvement ideas in the work area.
