Beck's Peoria Height is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead our kitchen team and oversee daily food service operations. This hands-on leadership role focuses on preparing high-quality food, leading and developing team members, maintaining food safety standards, and delivering a fast, friendly, and convenient experience for every customer.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Organized and dependable.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• Team oriented with lead-by-example mindset.
• Basic computer skills.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Food safety certification is a plus, or willingness to obtain certification if required.
• Previous food service, restaurant, or leadership experience is helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of the kitchen and food service program.
• Prepare food and work alongside the kitchen team during busy shifts.
• Train, coach, and support kitchen team members.
• Ensure food is prepared safely, consistently, and according to company standards.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety throughout the kitchen.
• Manage food inventory, ordering, and product rotation.
• Assist with scheduling and staffing needs for the kitchen.
• Complete kitchen paperwork, temperature logs, and other required documentation.
• Work with store leadership to provide an outstanding customer experience.
