Job summary

Applebee’s in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Kitchen Manager to oversee back-of-house operations, direct hourly staff, ensure cleanliness and sanitation, manage purchasing and cost controls, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of kitchen management experience, a high school diploma, relevant certifications, strong leadership and communication skills, and the flexibility to grow within the restaurant family.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year’s experience with Kitchen Management in the Casual Restaurant industry is required.
• A High School Diploma is preferred.
• Current alcohol and food certifications that meet state requirements are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of team leadership and positive conflict resolution.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to withstand the physical demands a restaurant environment holds.
