Job description

Kitchen Manager / Common Ground Culinary | Phoenix & Scottsdale, AZ | Full-Time

Common Ground Culinary is an Arizona-based restaurant group with multiple concepts across Phoenix and Scottsdale, known for quality food, thoughtful hospitality, and a team-first culture. We are hiring a Kitchen Manager to help lead back-of-house operations, maintain high culinary standards, and support daily kitchen execution across one of our concepts.

Compensation: $65,000-$75,000 annually, based on experience + Bonus

Schedule: Full-time, approximately 55 hours per week

About the Role

In this role, you will work alongside leadership to keep kitchen operations efficient, organized, and guest-focused. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, dependable, and experienced in high‑volume kitchen environments. You should be comfortable leading by example, supporting food quality and safety standards, and helping develop a strong back‑of‑house team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Working knowledge of all line positions as needed to support daily service execution
  • Organize prep lists and ensure prep work is completed accurately and on time
  • Maintain clean, organized, and inspection‑ready kitchen
  • Train and support health and safety compliance and uphold sanitation standards
  • Hiring, training, and performance management of team members
  • Complete monthly inventory and help manage food and supply orders
  • Place daily orders and support efficient kitchen operations
